It's been a while since I last blogged. I haven't given up this space, if that's what you are wondering.

Blogging has been my outlet for penning down my emotions, my thoughts, recording my experiences. Until about 2 years ago, when I started to write less regularly. I started becoming more guarded about what I reveal about myself, started being more conscious about how people would judge me.

Like they say, once bitten, twice shy. This space has since become mostly a space for me to write about official stuff, non-emotional happenings, and advertorials and reviews. I used to blog about everything I thought interesting, sometimes even twice a day. If you have followed me since 2009 you would have seen a stark contrast in my blogging.  This space became a space with no character. At least that's how I felt. So for a long time I didn't like blogging as much as I used to.

I was sitting in my Taipei apartment blogging about a hotel review, and halfway through my writeup I realized I'd left my USB hard disk (where I saved all the edited pictures) in Singapore. I can't really do a review without showing you the pretty pictures I took, so I decided to write this instead.

Somehow though, I felt an urge to revisit my blog the way I used to, to talk to it again, and pen down random thoughts. I realized I missed it - using this space as my diary, as an outlet to speak to all of you who care. That was how this blog started, and I think I want to get back to that.

Am flying back to Singapore in a few hours, so expect my hotel review up by Friday! It's a really nice place for a staycation, so promise you'll come back for it. I spent quite a bit of effort on the pictures, and maybe it's not fantastic photography by professional standards, but I'm still quite proud of them. Lol.

By the way, I just finished watching 來自星星的你, and I finally understand what all the hype was about. 好喜歡千頌伊。"Saranghae. " =D

  1. I like the idea you want to go back to your original way of posting...
i would love to post ina professional way, but nobody helps me xD so i just write also random things. but i hope to learn many things =D

  2. It would be great if you went more personal again and just include reviews etc. also. I mean, there is a difference between thoughts and dreams and happenings and being REALLY personal, like revealing family problems or sexual stuff, and one can just control how personal it should get.
But yes, it is always nice to find out more about the personal life of a person you follow, so I hope to read more of you and about you soon :)
