Crocs Fall Collection 2011
Before you start closing the tab on me because you think you're not interested in Crocs shoes cos in your mind they have always been big, fat, Charlie-Chaplin/Ronald-McDonald shoes, you have not read my previous Crocs post, have you? --> http://thatsilvergirl.blogspot.com/2010/05/crocs.html
Crocs shoes have evolved long since, if you are still living in the Crocs-kena-stuck-in-escalator days (Honestly till today I believe it was the boy's problem with walking properly and not Crocs that got his toe stuck.)
The preview was held at Screening Room, along Ann Siang Road. It's a pleasantly cosy place, with screens in each room so I guess it would be perfect for small functions, even movie screenings. (Cosy sofas included.)
School kids and sneaker fans, rejoice~! Who said only that particular other C brand makes this kinda shoes? Now Crocs has them too, and get this: These shoes are the LIGHTEST I HAVE EVER HELD SO FAR. They're practically weightless, yet ergonomically-tailored to best suit your feet's curves.

Now of course, the star of the event...presenting to you...the Crocs Shoes, Fall/Winter Collection 2011.
Is that cute or what?
I kinda think this is nice. And my sister agreed with me.
How it looks from the back.
And one for the girls!!! ;) There's just something about pink that makes some of us...weak...
Time to go try on your own pair. I was amazed with the comfort level this provides. Which means I could probably wear this all day and my legs still wouldn't ache. And because the tip isn't very tapered, your toes wouldn't get squished. If feet could sing, they would belt out Beyonce in these shoes...
NOW!!! I'm kinda excited to share the following with you, because these shoes change colour!!!!!!!!!!!!
A nice sweet pink pair of shoes...
Expose it to UV.....
I'm pressing the UV flashlight hard on the shoes so the change is more obvious later on...
TADAH!!!!! Okay it looks spotted because the lights are like that. But here's how it should look...
So damn cool!!!!!
Known as the Crocs Chameleons Translucent Clogs, they come in other colours too:
Green...
And blue~~~
And of course, something for the ladies (sorry no Chameleon shoes for us adults...unless we're a size 35)
I sort of really like this pair of Carlie Mary Jane, for some reason. It's really comfy, yes, and maybe because it's Tiffany Blue... ;)
Girls' Shirley.
And these are naice too~~~ The Carlie Flat.
Which comes in wild prints too!
They have nice flipflops too! So don't think Crocs only have ugly shoes okay~~~~
Oh you know those ugly FitFlops you may have seen in the malls and on many ladies' feet? Those shoes ONLY somehow look good on the models in their posters (maybe because they only use models with long skinny legs).
Sorry, but the shoes are REALLY ugly...I tried them on and they made my legs look, er...short and fat? I mean okay maybe my legs aren't that long anyway but shoes are supposed to flatter or compliment my legs, not make them SHORTER and FATTER. WTH???
Now you have an alternative toning slipper:
Looks like your average slipper right? Ah~ The magic of these shoes lie their soul...I mean sole....
But yah...look:
- Sculpted outsole creates a rocker-effect while you walk that initiates key muscle activity to provide toning benefits.
- Toning ring is designed to help moderate movement and provide support contributing to increased muscle activity.
- Comfortable, lightweight Croslite™ material footbed provides all-day comfort.
- Circulation nubs in the footbed deliver a massage-like feel.
- Super lightweight Croslite™ material provides all day comfort from heel to toe.
Speaking of Croslite, that's the soul of all Crocs shoes which makes their shoes oh-yes-yes-yes so comfy. What is Croslite?
Croslite™ is a proprietary Closed Cell Resin material which is NOT plastic NOR rubber. Croslite™ material is closed-cell in nature and anti-microbial, which virtually eliminates odor (NO MORE HONG KONG FEET!!!!). It is an extraordinary impact absorbing resin material developed for maximum cushioning (Great for lots and lots of walking without any strain in the knees or joints~). Its closed cell properties resist odor, inhibit bacterial and fungal growth and are nontoxic. (NO MORE FOOT ROT!!!) This versatile material can be worn next to skin and be cleaned with just soap and water. (How convenient!!!)
Now you know why their shoes always feel so good~
Super thanks to Kaye for the invite! I'm looking forward to MORE Crocs shoes!!!

my girlfriends and i swear by fitflops. fitflops are SUPER DUPER comfortable (super love the cushioning from the soles) and are great for lots of walking while on overseas trips. the newer designs (the jeweled ones especially) are quite nice too. we adore our fitflops so much that we each have at least 3 pairs in different designs. *hehe*
ReplyDeleteOhh!! Didn't know Crocs got sneakers! Thanks to your post I'm gonna try buying it if it's not expensive!
